INDIANA COLLEGE COSTS ESTIMATOR
The Indiana Commission for Higher Education has developed a tool to bring comprehensive college financial aid information to Hoosier students and families. This tool also provides selection and admission information. By utilizing Indiana College Costs Estimator, families can run various scenarios affecting financial aid packages to determine approximate costs to Indiana colleges, utilizing their specific financial data. Go to: www.indianacollegecosts.org to create an account and begin.

Students, we are pleased to introduce Family Connection to you and your family. Family Connection is a comprehensive website that can be used to help make plans about courses, colleges, and careers. Family Connection is linked with Naviance Succeed™, a service that is used in our office to track and analyze data about college and career plans; it provides up-to-date information that’s specific to our school. Family Connection will allow you to:
*Get involved in the planning process – Build a resume, complete online surveys, and     manage timelines and deadlines for making decisions about colleges and careers;
*Research colleges – Compare GPA, standardized test scores, and other statistics to actual historical data from our school for students who have applied and been admitted in the past (once the prior year data field is populated);
*Research careers – Research hundreds of careers and career clusters and take career assessments like the Do What You Are test;
*Create plans for the future – Build course plans, create goals and to-dos and complete tasks assigned to you by the school to better prepare yourself for your future college and career. Family Connection also allows us to inform you of upcoming meetings and events, local scholarship opportunities, and other resources for college and career information. You can also use the site to stay in communication with the counseling office. *Most importantly, transcripts for college applications will be requested using this site. No need to download counselor forms; everything is electronic!

A link to FamilyConnection/Naviance can be found under the Student tab on the top navigation bar on the Saint Joseph home page. Your personal access code/user ID and password are the same as your PowerSchool user ID and PowerSchool password. We hope you will find this resource helpful. If you have further questions about Family Connection, please contact us.
