h.o.p.e. (Helping Other People Endure)

"Hope sees the invisible, feels the intangible, and achieves the impossible."
                ~author unknown

h.o.p.e., Helping Other People Endure, is a club dedicated to helping those in need. Our efforts are often determined by the immediate needs of the time. Several years ago our time and energy were invested in helping Hurricane Katrina victims through clothing and diaper drives. We raised money for "Military Minutes," a fundraiser which provided phone cards for enlisted military personnel in Iraq and Afghanistan.  Locally, we feed more than 300 families with our annual food drive.

In addition to these projects that address a current crisis, h.o.p.e has a number of annual projects:
  • "Hair-pinking" to raise awareness for breast cancer
  • Thanksgiving Food Drive
  • Halloween with the retired Sisters of the Holy Cross
  • Christmas caroling for the retired Sisters of the Holy Cross
  • Christmas gifts for Catholic Charities
  • The Logan Nose-On
  • The Relay for Life
  • Pie in the Face (raising funds for Memorial Children's Hospital)
  • Random Acts of Kindness
