h.o.p.e. Delivers

Members of h.o.p.e. (Helping Other People Endure) made a special delivery on Wednesday. After a successful fund raising event, h.o.pe. members counted their money and took off for the toy store. Having raised more than $1,300 they were able to present Memorial Hospital's Pediatrics with a wagon overflowing with toys and Build-A-Bear animals. See WSBT's coverage by clicking on the link.
Public PowerSchool Portal Now Open
The portal for PowerSchool is now open to parents and students. Students can access their accounts by using the Username and Password from their schedule.

If you are a returning parent, you will need your previous Username and Password.

If you are a parent opening a new account, PowerSchool is listed under the Parent column on our homepage. Just click the "Create Account" tab and follow the directions from there. The Username and Password from the schedule will be entered under "Access ID" and "Access Password".

Saint Joe Grad is Artist-in-Residence at ND

Internationally acclaimed, Grammy Award-winning baritone Nathan Gunn, SJHS Class of 1989, will return to South Bend in September to inaugurate his artist-in-residence series with the Department of Music at the University of Notre Dame. Freshmen Orientation Welcomes Class of 2018

Orientation for freshmen and new students was held this week. Students and their parents gathered in the Black Box Theater to learn more about their new school. Officer Eric Tamashasky of the St. Joseph County Police Department spoke to the parents and students about cyber safety and security. Students were then given an introduction to their MacBook Airs, while their parents heard from the technology coordinator, the Director of School Counseling, Campus Ministry, Mr. Moloney, Mrs. Gibbs and Mrs. Richter.

Cross Country
Senior Jacob Turner took first place overall by 20 seconds over the field in a very fast 16:47 despite high heat and humidity. Matt Morris placed 5th overall and St. Joe finished 4th as a team.
The girls team had a tremendous pack and placed 2nd to potential state champion team Penn. The girls beat two returning State Finalist and State ranked teams in the process.
